QUEENSLAND CRICKET JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVE PATHWAYS
Queensland Cricket recognises the crucial role affiliates such as Queensland Junior Cricket (QJC) and Queensland Country Cricket Association (QCCA) play in supporting Queensland’s player pathway through various competitions and programs each season to progress players and officials through the Queensland Cricket player pathway.
LDCA / SEQ JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVE PATHWAYS - BOYS
QUEENSLAND JUNIOR CRICKET carnival
Representative Cricket starts here by being selected to play in the Queensland Junior Cricket carnival playing for South East Queensland Stormers (Combined Team between Ipswich and LDCA). Each age group from U12 to U15 have a team selected to play in the QJC each year usually played in December. Trials for these teams will be announced through the year and this is the top representative team for LDCA players to be selected in with a chance then to play in the QJC carnival and trial for State Team selection.
DEVELOPMENT CARNIVAL
Each year in age groups from u12 - u15 respectively LDCA submits a Representative Team to play in the Development Carnival to play against other districts to help develop these up and coming representative players and improve their skills moving into the next year of development. These carnivals are held in a variety of Districts such as Brisbane North, Ipswich and Sunshine Coast.
